Gunmen have killed one person and abducted two others in a night raid in Anambra State.
The gunmen were suspected to be members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) of the indigenous people of biafra (IPOB) in Anambra State
The incident took place at Oko community in Orumba North local government area around 10pm.
According to eyewitnesses, the hoodlums shot for over 30 minutes without any resistance.
The shooting, The Nation learnt, scared residents, including students of the Federal Polytechnic Oko, who scampered for safety, while most of them ran into nearby bushes
It was also gathered the two abductees failed to answer questions relating to the struggle for independence by members of the group.
An eyewitness (names withheld) told The Nation that the men shot randomly, causing massive vehicular traffic as they operated.
