Everton fan has called for the Toffees to sack manager Frank Lampard and replace him with Steve Bruce following their 5-0 thrashing at Tottenham.
The Merseyside outfit currently sits in 17th position in the Premier League, just one point ahead of Burnley – having lost four of their last five matches – winning just six games all season.
Lampard’s side, who have accumulated just 22 points from 25 games, have a difficult run-in in their remaining 13 fixtures, including ties against Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and West Ham United.
Everton supporters are understandably concerned about the club’s position in the top-flight, with the Toffees’ record of never being relegated in real danger of coming to an end.
This has led to Oliver, who claims to be an Everton supporter, suggesting that the club should sack Lampard and replace him with current West Brom manager Bruce.
following the disappointing loss to Burnley, some of the fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “We can still stay up but not with Lampard in charge. No chance with him”
Another said: “Lampard is out of his depth, we went inexperienced over experienced as the club listened to a vocal minority of fans, he looks lost drained and clueless.”
