Rapper cum actor, Efa Iwara has charged upcoming actors to attend auditions. The Tinsel star gave this advice during an Instagram Live. While speaking on the topic ‘Navigating a career in Nollywood’, Iwara urged rising talents not to take auditions for granted if they want to pursue a career in the movie industry.
“Filmmakers will always hire new guys, everyone’s time is coming,” he began.
Continuing, the thespian, who landed his first role in 2017 said, “Before me, there was Ramsey Nouah, Richard Mofe-Damijo, and other stars. Yes, they are all still acting. But, there is always space for new actors. Some people keep saying filmmakers are giving roles to the same set of actors and not giving others the opportunity, which is not true. Don’t be jaded by this and not go for auditions, pray to God and do your best.”
