The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Justice Ibrahim Tanko Mohammad has reportedly resigned, According to Channels Television, he resigned on health grounds. Sources informed he resigned on Sunday night.

It was gathered Justice Olukayode Ariwoola will be sworn in as Acting CJN subject to Senate’s confirmation.
