Yesterday Rotimi Akeredolu Governor of Ondo State urged Nigerians to shun religious faction.
He urged citizens to emphasise on core issues that can foster unity instead of fanning the embers of religious division
The governor reiterated his call for a power shift in next year’s presidential election.
Akeredolu insisted that only a southerner should succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
This, he said, is to preserve the unwritten arrangement of the rotational presidency between North and South, remove suspicion of domination and promote inclusiveness.
